Solidity

Huge stiffness

Top-of-the-line material, solid structure and quality construction are the three fundamentals of building a boat to achieve real strength. To achieve this ultimate goal, Morningstar boats adopt a revolutionary, simple but strong hull structure, 5083 premium aluminum alloy, advanced forming technology and robotic welding during construction.

Revolutionary hull structure

Different from conventional pressed or plate alloy boats, Morningstar boats are built with far fewer parts by adopting one-piece 3D designed bottoms, single-plate sides incorporating gunwales and our patented Origrid stiffener system. Fewer pieces means less solder and fewer weak links in the structure.
The deduction is the code in restructuring the hull structure of Morningstar, but there is one exception, the bow. The bow is the part that usually encounters the most impact. Morningstar boats have a double hurdle. A 5083 aluminum shield bow formed of 4 mm thick is fully welded on the bottom to a single 3 mm plate. The 4mm shield acts not only as a bumper but also as an additional structure reinforcing the resistance at the front.

3D training technology and robot welding during construction

3D forming techniques are applied to the production of hull plates. The formation of non-developable surfaces gently stretches the shell in multiple directions and greatly increases its strength. At the same time, 3D geometric shapes, such as curved surfaces, strakes and steps, are integrated into the plates. These shapes are not only for style or hydrodynamics, but also for increasing the strength of hardened plates. The robots are used in most Morningstar boat welding jobs. Accurate and consistent welding work ensures that every Morningstar boat achieves the desired design quality.
